About THE AUTHOR
Frank Z. Llobera is a writer, translator and poet, based in Mallorca, Spain. He specializes in writing and translating literature generally linked to the Balearic Islands and environs.
He was longlisted for the 2021-22 John Dryden Translation Competition prize. In 2025, he was awarded Third Prize at the 30th Summer Poetry Competition in Cunit, and was a finalist in the 2024 and 2025 Poetry Contests in Olot, Catalonia. He published an annotated, newly translated edition of “The Pine of Formentor,” and has recently translated and edited the English edition of Blessed Ramon Llull’s “Book of One Thousand Proverbs.” He is also the founder of @zetapoetry.
